Is E10 fuel any good

Saturday, February 06, 2016

E10 fuel has had a lot of doubt about its grade and quality of product, there is a miss conception that E10 fuel is and can be harmful for your car.

 Here we can explain a little about E10 fuel to put your mind at peace;

E10 fuel is a bi-product from foods that mainly have a waist starch ingredient, the bulk of the foods/crops are sold and used in the food manufacturer industry and the valuable waist is a product for the E10 fuel along with other goodies to make it safe and combustible.

E10 fuel is supported by all major leading car manufacturers, there is a website that will help you and clear up some uncertainty about what your vehicle can run on.

The octane rating of E10 is in fact higher than standard unleaded, E10 has a rating of around 94.5% as oppose to 91% for standard unleaded. But don't worry E10 can be used in conjunction with other fuels if you find you are stuck, all fuel in Australia have to comply with the National Fuel Quality Regulation so there should be know doubt you are pumping an inferior product.

E10 will perform just as good as any other fuel product of its range, the biggest changing factor about mileage rate is the different driving styles of the individual. Minimal difference was found between the different fuels. It is handy to remember the price of E10 out weighs the actual minor differences between the fuel performance.
